Cut it, post it

The episode comes together: hold a shot on the timeline, compose its music, set its captions, let Kiju watch it, then render it and export what a post needs.

“I'm told I'm late. I'm always late.”

Every shot is filmed. Now the episode comes together. In this video: trim it, give it music and captions, let Kiju watch it, then render it and export what a post needs.

This is the Cut step: your episode, assembled from the clips, the lines, the music and the captions. Below the player, the timeline: the picture, the dialogue, and the music. Choose a shot on the timeline to trim it, hold it, or move its line.

Shot thirteen is the cliffhanger. Hold its last frame a beat longer, so the line lands before the episode ends: twelve frames, half a second. Every change is free, and Undo takes it back.

Then the music. Compose the music writes a piece for this episode, for a few cents, through OpenRouter. You can use your own file instead, or leave it silent. Choose Compose the music.

The music sits under the dialogue: set the two levels here. A vertical episode has its captions burned into the picture, bold and outlined, so they read over anything; or write them as an SRT file beside the video.

Before you post, let Kiju watch it. It checks every speaking mouth, and every face against its character's pictures, and says what it finds. The price is on the button. Choose Watch it for me.

Kiju watched it, for thirteen cents. In shots four and five, a mouth moved during a line laid over it: Kiju holds their pictures instead. It names differences too, like freckles on Mara in shot six, or Elias's face in shot ten: redraw, or leave it. We leave those. In shots three, eleven and twelve, a face speaks on screen while its line is laid over it. The fix: film them in sync, as shot thirteen is.

On the Film step, set shots three, eleven and twelve to Lips in sync. Their pictures are drawn again face on, then filmed again with the line spoken.

On the Board: Redraw the three out of date.

Back on the Film step: shot eleven is filmed with Wan three point oh; three and twelve stay on Kling, where Veo sent them. About two dollars, past the five-dollar ceiling, so the press waits. Change the ceiling to eight dollars, for this episode. Then choose Film again the three out of date.

Every shot that speaks now shows its face. Back on the Cut step, choose Watch again.

Watched again, every face that speaks moves with its line. One small thing is left: a different pin on Elias's lapel, in shot eleven. Leave it. Then choose Render the cut: it is free, made on this Mac.

The cut is ready. Choose Export. Tick what your post needs: the video, with its captions burned in; the captions as an SRT file; a thumbnail; and, to finish in Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut, an editor timeline. Choose Export, pick a place, and Kiju writes a new folder there.

Pause here, and finish yours: hold or trim on the timeline, give it music and captions, let Kiju watch it, then render and export what your post needs. Next: the next episode.

The film is in English, with English captions. Filmed on the Kiju show desk, before its release. The images, the video, the voices and the music in the films are AI-generated.
