1. Who is responsible
APITHINGS, SARL (société à responsabilité limitée), 4 rue de la République, 69001 Lyon, France, publishes kiju.app and is responsible for the processing described here. This policy covers the kiju.app website and its waitlist. Contact: contact@apithings.net.
2. This site
kiju.app sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising, and loads nothing from third parties: its pages, fonts, drawings, pictures and video clips are all served by the site itself, and it embeds no outside player.
What you do on a page — keep a take, price a shot, move a note — runs in your browser. It stays in the page and in its address, after a #: nothing of it is sent, and the part of an address after the # never reaches our host.
3. Connection logs
To serve the pages and keep them secure, our host, Vercel Inc., processes technical connection data: IP address, browser, page requested, date and time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Vercel keeps these logs only as long as it needs to operate and secure its service, under its data processing addendum (vercel.com/legal/dpa), which we can send you on request.
The site is pinned to the Vercel region “fra1”, in Frankfurt, Germany; its pages reach you from the nearest point of the host’s network, wherever that is. Vercel’s own platform operations — support, security — may involve processing in the United States, covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. The waitlist
The waitlist button opens your own mail app with a message addressed to hello@kiju.app. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and the site records nothing. If you send it, we receive your email address, the name your mail app shows, and what you write.
We use them for two things only: to answer you, and to tell you when a seat in the beta opens. No newsletter, and we never sell them. They are held in our mailbox, which our email provider hosts on our behalf as a processor; nobody else receives them. The legal basis is your consent, given by sending the message; you withdraw it whenever you like, with a word in reply.
We keep your message until you ask us to delete it, and at most until the end of the beta.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access your data, correct or erase it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@apithings.net; we answer within one month.
6. Complaints
If you think your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
