What it costs

Real bills, from the first test to the kept shot.

What the studio paid its providers to make a show in Kiju and to test the models it uses, every figure from a recorded bill. Kiju Lab is free and runs on your own keys: these are the providers’ prices, not Kiju’s.

Made in Kiju

Two episodes of Every Nine Seconds

Everything generated in the desk to find the format and make The Door and The Fog — the look, the cast sheets, the keyframes, the end frames, the motion and the voice — the tests and the set-aside takes included.

Reviews, voice design, effects and music outside the desk are not in this bill.

The twelve kept video takes: 105 seconds for $17.11. The rest paid for tests, comparisons and retakes.

Seven models, judged blind

A take is not a shot.

A channel pays for every take and uses only the ones a person keeps. Seven video models, two six-second takes each from the same anime first frame, reviewed without the names: both Hailuo 3 Max takes were kept, one of the two Kling 3.0 Pro takes, nothing from the other five.

Recorded bills from the seven-model run (Tin Kaiju, 2026-09-27; the first Hailuo take is from 2026-09-23). Kept shots from the blind review of 2026-09-28: both Hailuo takes and Kling’s first.

A 75-second pilot

Seventeen shots, retakes included.

After Jules Verne, made by an agent under a $15 ceiling: an animatic first, at no cost, then five sheets, twenty-five keyframes and twenty paid shots, retakes included. The voices and the music were paid in credits, not dollars.
