Episode two

Start the next episode from the last one: the same cast, the same places, and only the rules that still hold.

Transcript

A series is a promise kept twice. Episode two needs the same cast, the same rules, and the same places, with one new thing. In this video: start it from the last one, retire the rule it breaks, and build its first picture in the same place.

Every Nine Seconds' second episode, The Fog, was started from The Door, once it was approved: the same cast, the same bible. Today shows both episodes, and what each one spent.

But The Fog broke a rule: the cormorant was in every sweep, and The Fog needed sweeps without him. So the rule was retired, not deleted: it stays in the bible, with its reason.

This keyframe from The Fog uses three references: the door's sheet, the bird's sheet, and the closing keyframe from The Door. That third picture keeps the door on the same rocks, from one episode to the next.

Now, yours. The Birthday Cake is approved, so episode two can start from it. First, the Narrator we proposed last time: in the Cast, select him, and Approve.

Then Today, under Episodes: a working title, The Night Parcel, and Start Ep 02. It carries the cast and the rules, the format, the audience and the tone. No script is copied, and nothing is approved for you.

The Night Parcel is a delivery after dark, and the bible says sunny colours. In the bible, retire that rule, and say why: the clay and the camera height stay; the sun doesn't. Then add the rule that replaces it: the light follows the hour.

Now its first picture, in the same place. In the Lab's Kept takes, select The Birthday Cake's 2.1 keyframe, switch to Image, and use it as the only reference. Then the words: the same photograph, hours later, at night; the same lawn and sprinkler, Shelby gone, moonlight and fireflies. Choose Nano Banana Pro, then compare with GPT Image. Check both models and the total price, and Make two.

Here they are, beside episode one's lawn. GPT Image kept the place: the sprinkler, the tree and the house, where they were. Nano Banana Pro moved the house and the tree. In tutorial five it was the other way round: check, every time.

Star the GPT Image take, and discard the other: it's set aside, with its cost. Episode two has its first picture, in the same place, ready for its shot list.

Pause here, and make yours: start it from the last one, retire the rule it breaks, and build its first picture in the same place. That's the series: a channel, a cast, a script, keyframes, first and last frames, three models, a voice, a cut, and a second episode. Now, make yours.
